Annual Planning Kit. (large file---please be patient)This is a copy of national office BSA materials. Unfortunately, these materials are out of print. If you can find these, there is a VCR tape. We wish we could put that on the web site—but we are unable to find a reasonable means for providing that video.
Annual Planning Power Point Presentation. Use this power point as your beginning point of presenting the planning process to the scouts and adults.
Parent Troop 40 Planning Process. This is a PDF version of the power point presentation. If you don’t have PowerPoint, or are not familiar with this, consider this handout.
Planning Calendar for Annual Planning. After you read and understand the Annual Planning Kit, you will want to program the different steps on your calendar. This requires a degree of coordination. Since Troop 40 has two cycles, and break for the summer, we utilize this approach for our firm. Other troop cycles might be diffe rent and if so, you might want to modify this.
